This was something I wanted to do for my friends birthday. She is a bright cheery soul and I wanted to give her something that reflected that energy. Simultaneously, I used this for my second workshop. It was indeed a lot more challenging both texture and blending, for my new students.
Probably the most frustrating thing we encountered was the discrepancy and quality of the pigments between manufacturers as well as student grade vs professional grade paints. I can not emphasize enough the importance of using the best in watercolor for predictable results.
